New "Power Rangers" Posters Reveal the Core Cast's Character Names

Lionsgate's "Power Rangers" will bear familiar names when they hit the big screen next spring. A new series of posters debuted on MTV's Snapchat and confirmed that Dacre Montgomery's Red Ranger is Jason, Naomi Scott's Pink Ranger is Kimberly, Ludi Lin's Black Ranger is Zack, R.J. Cyler's Blue Ranger is Billy and Becky Gomez's Yellow Ranger is Trini.
The core cast will also appear at San Diego Comic-Con next week, though Lionsgate does not have a panel that weekend.

The "Power Rangers" movie is currently filming in British Columbia, Canada. The execs behind the film are positive it could lead to several sequels, as Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer indicated a few weeks back, "We are really, really excited about the 'Power Rangers' movie...We could see doing five or six or seven."
Directed by Dean Israelite and starring Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, R.J. Cyler as the Blue Ranger and Becky Gomez as the Yellow Ranger, “Power Rangers” morphs into theaters March 24, 2017.

According to details filtering online, the men were allegedly killed over land dispute which has been lingering for long. May their souls rest in peace.

How Will 'Captain America: Civil War' Affect Tony & Pepper's Relationship In 'Iron Man 4'?

Captain America: Civil War was promised to be one of the most emotionally affecting films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far, and it failed to disappoint on that point as it broke our collective hearts. But one of the saddest subplots of Civil War was only mentioned a few times, and the other player in the story didn't even appear at all.

The breaking apart of the relationship between Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Pepper Potts (Qwyneth Paltrow) was referred to in passing by Tony and Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans), but not really expanded upon at all during the movie.

Iron Man 4

First of all, don't get too excited. We don't even know if Iron Man 4 is officially happening, though Downey Jr. seems open to the possibility. But as one of the most lucrative characters of the ensemble universe there is still a future for Iron Man in the MCU, whether it's in future solo films or portrayed by another actor (say it ain't so!).

The question we have to ask is, is Pepper actually good for Tony? Tony's neuroses, and Pepper's seeming indifference regarding them isn't a new thing.

 

Man Commits Suicide After Losing Last Savings On Bet For France To Win Euro 2016. (Photos)

A man reportedly committed suicide after he lost his previous savings on a wager that France would win the Euro 2016 final.

 28 year old Fidel Nikitin, hoped the ?300 gamble would allow him to clear his debts but Portugal went on to beat the host nation on Sunday.

Daily Record reports that the mobile phone salesman, from Izhevsk, Russia, left a message on his social media bank account after the 1-0 defeat saying: "Thanks both Of you and forgive me. "



Police said he walked onto the Ludzya-Izhevsk railway track and did not flinch as a train sounded a warning.

The driver said he had no time to stop after seeing the man on the track, it was reported.



Relatives revealed university educated Fidel was deeply shocked after Portugal beat France to win the tournament. Fidel had taken out a series of loans but was unable to pay them back.

He had hoped winning the bet would allow him to repay his debts.

The Tomb Raider release date has been set for March 16, 2018

Warner Bros. Pictures and MGM have today announced the Tomb Raider release date. Look for Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl) to make her big screen debut as Lara Croft when Tomb Raider hits theaters March 16, 2018.

Norwegian filmmaker Roar Uthaug (The Wave) will direct the film, which has a script by Transformers: The Last Knight scribe Geneva Robertson-Dworet.
The original Tomb Raider game was published in 1996 by the London-based video game company Eidos and became one of the most successful video games of the time. A reboot of the series, telling the origin of Lara Croft, was released in 2013 and sold over 5 million copies. The most recent game, titled Rise of the Tomb Raider, is available now for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
Paramount Pictures previously made two movies about the daredevil archaeologist on a series of global missions. The films, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, starred Angelina Jolie and grossed a combined $432 million at the worldwide box office.

Although the Tomb Raider release date officially marks the first feature film to claim that weekend, the March 16, 2018 date has been held by Warner Bros. for some time. It was previously speculated that the DC Comics adaptation The Flash would claim that date. At the moment, however, The Flash is without an official release date.
Tomb Raider will be distributed by  Warner Bros. with MGM. They will produce the film with GK Films.

First Photos of Keiynan Lonsdale as Kid Flash in The Flash Season 3!

The CW and DC Entertainment have announced that another speedster is racing to The Flash in its upcoming third season, and it’s a familiar face! When Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West was revealed in season two, many fans knew it was only a matter of time before he suited up himself, and Wally will be doing just that in the season three premiere! Check out the first Kid Flash photos below.

It was previously revealed that the The Flash Season 3 premiere will be titled “Flashpoint,” confirming that the new season will be based (at least in part) on the popular event story from DC Comics. In the event, and the season 2 finale of The Flash, Barry went back in time to do what he couldn’t before: save his mother from dying at the hands of The Reverse Flash.
In the source material, this resulted in some fundamental changes to the fabric of the DCU including Captain Cold being the hero of Central City, the Justice League not existing, Wonder Woman’s Amazonians and Aquaman’s Atlanteans being engaged in a worldwide war, Bruce Wayne being the one who died in the alley and not his parents inspiring his father to become Batman (and his mother The Joker), and Superman being kept in an underground base for years after being found by the military; among others. It’s unclear what sort of changes will blossom as a result of Barry’s actions in the series, though perhaps Wally having superpowers will be among the new changes to the world.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Season 2 of the series also introduced Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West and the Earth-2 version of The Flash as played by John Wesley Shipp (who also played Barry’s father, Henry Allen). The Flash Season 3 premiere is already set to debut on The CW on Tuesday, October 4 at 8 PM ET.

The Flash Movie: Are One Of These Three Actresses Our Iris West?

Barry Allen has been speeding his way into the homes of many since 2014, when The Flash aired on The CW. Some magical casting choices have come out regarding the upcoming third season. but all in all, there hasn't been anything that huge in the world of Flash news.

But that doesn't mean that we'll have to wait long for any big Flash-related information. On the contrary, as some details regarding the Scarlet Speedster have just come out. Just not the version of the hero you were probably thinking about.

A movie based on The Flash is well underway, set to release in 2018 as part of DC's cinematic plans. We've already got our Flash actor, Ezra Miller, who will be portraying the character in both the Justice League and Flash films. Miller also showed up as The Flash in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice earlier this year.

The movie is far from done with casting, as the other central players of the Flash film have yet to be revealed. However, some recent casting news may have just made the search for one extremely important Flash character a bit shorter.

The Flash Movie Is Close To Finding Its Iris West!

Iris West is a reporter at Central City Picture News, and the love interest of Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash. Iris is the Lois Lane to Flash's Superman, the Jane Foster to his Thor, the...Vicki Vale to his Batman? I'm not entirely certain who Batman's love interest actually is, come to think of it.

Iris is currently portrayed by Candice Patton in the Flash TV series, but due to the TV and movie universes being separate, she of course won't be reprising her role in the DCEU Flash film.

Iris is obviously a very important character to the Flash story, so there's no way she wouldn't make an appearance in the film. The only question was who would portray her. Now, we're much closer to getting an answer!

Three names have been reported to be in the shortlist for Iris West, and they're all the names of actresses who have been in some pretty recent and well-known projects!

"Gotham" showrunner Danny Cannon unveiled the photo of Jada Pinkett-Smith on Twitter, accompanied by the words "Mooney's entrance." It confirms that the one-time owner of Mooney's Nightclub will indeed play a role in the third season of the Fox drama.
Of course, viewers had little doubt, after the presumed-dead Mooney resurfaced last season in the care of Hugo Strange at the Indian Hill facility, alive -- well, revived -- if perhaps not exactly well. "Patient 13" was last seen disappearing into the shadows after commandeering a bus filled with fellow inmates and escaping from Indian Hill. No doubt she and Strange's other test subjects will play a significant role in Season 3.
Executive Producer John Stephens revealed to CBR in May that fans can expect appearances from the Mad Hatter, the Tweedle Brothers, Talon and, likely, Solomon Grundy. And don't forget Poison Ivy, who was recast for Season 3.

The Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has said that the council can survive without depending on its monthly allocation from the federation account.
Speaking, weekend, he said that he inherited a nearly ‘collapsed’ area council.

Candido said that the council was blessed with untapped sources of revenue from where millions of naira can be realised to pay staff salaries and carry out projects for the masses.
He said that his administration was seeking ways to explore the revenue sources and start providing social amenities to the rural dwellers.
“Despite the fact that anytime we go for JAAC meeting we either come back empty-handed, which means we have no Kobo from the federation account, AMAC will never suffer in terms of money to tackle some of its challenges since we have avenues through which revenue can be realised,” he said.

Geoff Johns co-wrote Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman movie; plot synopsis released

Wonder Woman must have undergone some major script changes last year! Jason Fuchs was reported to be writing the Wonder Woman movie, he even spoke about it vaguely last September in an interview with Collider. But that’s not the name you’ll see in the credits of Gal Gadot’s upcoming movie.
According to a Comic-Con press release that Warner Bros. just put out this evening, the Wonder Woman screenplay was written by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, from a story by Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg. We also got the first plot synopsis!

“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

This will be Allan Heinberg’s first movie. Until now he’s worked exclusively on television, writing episodes for shows like Sex and the City, The O.C., and Grey’s Anatomy. But he also has some comic book experience, and helped relaunch “Wonder Woman” after the “Infinite Crisis” mini-series. Of course you all know DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. Having him co-write the script is nothing but great news!

‘Christ Told Me That Wearing Trousers Brings Out Women’s Sensitive Features’ – Mama G

Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor popularlyl known in the movie fraternity as Mama G who is now born again to the extent of preaching the Gospel has criticized the wearing of trousers by women, saying it is highly ungodly. She asserted that it makes men sin against God. “When we wear trousers, we make men desire us and make them fall into sin” she said. This conversation ensued when she was interviewed by Encomium magazine. She added that: “Yes, I don’t wear trousers again. No more weave on, no more make up. Naturally, I am not a makeup person. You see me in make up when I am in the movie. That has been my nature. Even if I make up, I like it light, except it was made by somebody else for an occasion. Christ told me to put off certain things because they don’t please Him. I have to obey Him. I heard directly from Him, nobody told me that. Christ told me that wearing trousers brings out women’s sensitive features. I put up a lot of argument about it before I could obey.”

Odusami AJibola-Mathew, UNILAG Student Dies While Playing Football With Friends

A 500l student of University of Lagos, identified as Odusami AJibola Mathew of Department of Estate Management has died on Friday. According to the statement released by the suspended University of Student Union ULSU, the student slumped at school sport center while playing football and died instantly. Annoucing the news to the student community, the Secretary of Faculty of Environment Sciences Students Association (FESSA) said:
“We regret to announce the sudden demise of our colleague, brother, course mate, Odusami Ajibola Matthew, 500L student of the department of Estate Management, Faculty of Environmental Sciences,
Though he was at the Faculty as well as sport centre yesterday, his death is a big shock to us and we will always remember him.
We pray his gentle soul rests in perfect peace.


A student of the department who claimed that Ajibola until his death was his friend wrote:
In the late hours of yesterday the news that a fellow Akokite slum and was lying unconscious in the medical center got to me, I was pained an wished the person regains consciousness back in no time. Had a flat battery, had to force myself to bed, woke up to d shocking news that the students that was unconscious before I went to bed yesterday have been confirmed dead, tried to get the identity of who he was but I discovered it was Jibola. I was so shocked and confused, I asked why it has to be Jibola repeatedly.. Jibola was a calm, reserved, intelligent and cool guy. God’s only knows why he decided to take Jibola now..Jibola may your soul continue to rest in the Bossom of the Lord.. R.I.P @Jibostop..
Also confirming the news, his classmate, Folorunsho Adedolapo said he was playing football with his friends when he started breathing heavily and promptly excused himself to get some rest.
While walking towards a sit, he slumped and passed out. “He was immediately rushed to the Health Centre where the Doctors tried to resuscitate him for over an hour. Unable to do so, he was immediately transferred to LUTH, where he was certified dead”.
Recalled that it has not be long a student of the same University (Eniola) drank sniper and died.

'Supergirl' Will Introduce Superman in Season 2

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's ... the casting announcement everyone has been waiting for: Superman is coming to Supergirl.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the former CBS series will introduce the iconic DC Comics superhero when it moves to The CW in the fall. Superman will first be seen visiting his cousin Kara (Melissa Benoist) in National City at the beginning of the series’ second season. The role is currently being cast.

The CBS-turned-CW series is casting the iconic DC Comics superhero, who will appear in the first two episodes of season two. 

"Greg [Berlanti], Ali [Adler] and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl," said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. "Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season, and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!"
A young Kal-El, played by Daniel DiMaggio, was already seen in season one in flashbacks to Kara's life on Krypton, but this version will be the grown man the world already knows as Superman.
The casting will bring Superman back to The CW following the WB Network's former Tom Welling drama Smallville.

When a queen cheers on a queen, one of them is sure to get crowned again.

Beyoncé and husband Jay Z attended Serena Williams' match against Germany's Angelique Kerber at Wimbledon Saturday. Serena beat her opponent 7-5 6-3, winning her seventh Wimbledon singles crown and 22nd Grand Slam title.

Beyoncé wore a white lace outfit with a high collar, while her husband matched her in a white T-shirt. The singer seemed stunned for a moment after Serena won the match, throwing up her arm and cheering seconds after people sitting around her had already gotten up on their feet.

The tennis star and Beyoncé are friends. Serena even made a cameo in the pop star's music video "Sorry," featured on her controversial Lemonade visual album.
"I've known Bey for a long time," Serena told WSJ. magazine in an interview posted last month, adding, "I got really sore from dancing!" she added.
Other celebs spotted at the match included Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia De Rossi, Natalie Portman and Rashida Jones, who sat together, and Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on Game of Thrones and rocked a new blue hairstyle.

6 Boko Haram suspects arrested in Lagos

At least six suspected Boko Haram members who confessed to be indigenes of Borno State and who disclosed that they fled Bama, Baga and Konduga local government council areas of Borno State, following military operations against insurgents have been arrested.

The suspected terrorists were reportedly nabbed over the weekend by a Civilian Joint Task Force at different locations in Lagos and the six insurgents gave their names as Ibrahim Ali, Abubakar Ahmed, Babagana Blam Ali, Goigoi Kamsalem, Ibrahim Mohammed and Adams.

Head of the civilian Joint Task Force, the Mai- Kanuribe of Lagos and Seriki Hausawa of Ijora Kingdom, Alhaji Mustapha Mohammed, while briefing journalists on how the suspected terrorists were arrested informed that Ibrahim Ali and Babagana Blam Ali, who hail from Bama and Konduga local government areas respectively, were arrested based on intelligence at Isheri-Ojodu Berger, while Goigoi Kamsalem, Ibrahim Mohammed both from Bama and Abubakar Ahmed of Baga council areas, were apprehended at a hideout in Victoria Island.

Mustapha, the Seriki of Hausawa of Ijora Kingdom said the sixth suspect, Adam was apprehended close to a church in Festac Town and also noted that his group of Task Force members which has been in operation for the past five years was spread across 57 local government areas in Lagos and Ogun states in a bid to nip the activities of the terrorist group in the bud.

“One of their leaders that was hiding at a church in FESTAC town was   arrested and handed over to security agents. You know we are from Borno State where these people also hail from and we know their communities. Our people back home do monitor them, and once they leave Maiduguri, we would be alerted so that we can be on the lookout.

“Once they arrive any community in Lagos, our members are always on ground to fish them out base on intelligence report and once they are arrested, we hand them over to security agencies for further investigation and prosecution”, the traditional head of the Kanuris in Lagos explained”. Mustapha said.

He also informed that the arrested suspects based on the directives of security operatives had been sent back to Borno State yesterday morning before the arrival of newsmen.
