Hayden Leslie Panettiere (born August 21, 1989) is an actress.

With a gorgeous face, a gift for music, and a hit primetime TV series under her belt, Hayden Panettiere was supposed to be Hollywood's next big thing circa 2006. But ten years after she became a breakout star on Heroes, the actress isn't anywhere near as famous—or busy—as expected. What happened?

Unlike a lot of stars who've been working in Hollywood since they were just a few years old, Panettiere never experienced growing pains when it came to shedding the mantle of childhood. After making her mark as a cute-as-a-button kiddo in films such as Remember the Titans (2000), her big break came when she scored the role of an unbreakable teenage dream girl on NBC's hit series, Heroes. When the supernatural drama debuted in 2006, the 17-year-old actress was front and center as its most recognizable star, and her character, Claire Bennett, was an instant fan favorite. Save the cheerleader, save the world!

Unfortunately, what should have been a career-making breakout series—and a part Panettiere could have played for years as a great way to bridge the gap until it was time to take on more adult roles in more serious projects—went super-sour, super-fast. After being initially heralded as an addictively watchable new series on a par with LOST (2004-10), Heroes took a ratings nosedive after its second season, and the producers' efforts to resuscitate it (by cramming up the already-convoluted drama with even more characters and storylines) only made things worse. The result wasn't good for the careers of anyone involved, but Panettiere arguably had it worst. By the time the show was cancelled in 2010, she'd spent four years of her life as the de facto face of a flailing, failing series. While she was blameless in the show's demise, being so inextricably associated with it definitely didn't help when it came time seek more work.

NEWS: Several dead in US strike on Syria base

The US military strike on a Syrian airbase has caused several deaths, said the governor of Homs province where the Shayrat base is located.
“There are martyrs, but we don’t yet know the number either of martyrs or of wounded,” Talal Barazi told AFP by telephone.
He said parts of the base were on fire and some of the wounded were suffering from burns.

“It will take some time to determine the extent of the damages,” he said.
“Of course we condemn this, all action targeting Syrian military bases is condemnable,” Barazi said.
He said the forces present at the base “provide important support” in the battle against the Islamic State group in the Palmyra region, home to a famed desert city that Syrian troops recaptured from jihadists last month.

Lots of people overcome these so-called limiting factors, so it can’t be the limiting factors that limit you.
It’s not the external conditions and circumstances that stop you- it’s YOU!
We stop ourselves! We think limiting thoughts and engage in self-defeating behavior.

NEWS: Nigerian-British boxer wins fight in 20 seconds

Surprising story: Nigerian-British boxer and Rio 2016 Olympian Lawrence Okolie took just 20 seconds to score a knockout win on his professional debut.

He left the  following comments to his fans on Twitter “Sorry to everyone that missed me fighting,” Okolie tweeted. “The good news is a Won by KO in 20 seconds!! Bad news is I’m back in the cage for now.”

Okolie competed at heavyweight and lost to Cuban Erislandy Savon at the last-16 stage at the Rio Olympics.
He had boxed Savon once before and lost via a first-round stoppage, but at the second attempt he went the three-round distance with the Cuban who would eventually claim a bronze medal.

Okolie explanied the likes that it was Joshua who lured him into boxing to the people.
“Before I started boxing properly I was working in McDonald’s, and I was watching the Olympics during my breaks whenever I could,” he told Sky Sports News HQ.

“It was the only thing to do! There was a particular break where Usain Bolt won the 100m then Anthony Joshua won gold. I felt something then.
“It was really inspirational. I started putting more work into training, and believing it more.”
Okolie hopes to become a world champion within four years and is scheduled to fight on the undercard of Ricky Burns’ super-lightweight unification bout with Julius Indongo on April 15.
